Routing, conduit and tray systems for residential and industrial sites — from first fix through termination and testing.
Cable laying is judged years after handover, when someone opens a riser and either understands it in ten seconds or does not. Routing decisions made in week one determine whether a building can be extended, re-tenanted or repaired without tearing out finishes. We plan the route around the building it has to serve for thirty years, not around the fastest path through it this month.
Scope
- First fix — conduit, back boxes, floor ducts and wall chases coordinated with the other trades
- Containment — cable tray, ladder, basket and trunking, with segregation between power and data
- Cable pulling — sizing to load and route length, bend radii respected, no drum-end damage
- Terminations — glanding, crimping, torque-checked connections and phase identification
- Testing and energisation — insulation resistance, continuity, loop impedance and RCD verification

- Circuit schedule with cable type, size, length and protective device
- Test certificates covering every circuit installed
- As-built containment routes and penetration records
- Labelling to a scheme the building can still read in a decade
- Photographic record of routes before they were closed up
