Low-Current Systems

Structured cabling, access control, CCTV, fire alarm and data networks — engineered as one system rather than four unrelated installations.

Standards
DIN EN 50173 · VDE 0833 · MSZ HD 60364

Low-current is where buildings get their nervous system. It is also where the most expensive mistakes hide: a data backbone routed beside a power run, a fire-alarm loop that fails its acceptance test, a rack nobody can service two years later. We treat the four subsystems as one design problem, because on site they share the same trays, the same penetrations and the same commissioning window.

Low-Current Systems

Scope

  1. Structured data cabling — copper and fibre backbone, horizontal distribution, patch panels, labelled and tested to channel level
  2. Access control — door controllers, readers, locking hardware, cabling and integration with the building management side
  3. CCTV — camera positions, PoE infrastructure, recording hardware and network segmentation
  4. Fire alarm and detection — loop design coordination, device installation, cause-and-effect verification
  5. Comms and equipment rooms — rack build, containment, earthing and power distribution to the rack

What you receive

  1. Channel-level test results for every data link, exported as certified reports
  2. As-built routing and labelling schedule
  3. Rack elevations and port allocation records
  4. Device schedules with model, firmware and location
  5. Handover pack sized for a facilities team, not a filing cabinet
